Want to Save Time Getting Ready in the Morning?

Friday, January 27th, 2012

Is there something that you dread in your morning routine?  Think about how you may be able to minimize or eliminate it.  For me this was easy.  I hate to blow dry my hair.  I have very thick hair, which I am thankful for, but it takes a long time to blow dry.  I don’t like spending a lot of time getting ready but I want to look good.  My hair also seems to get a little oily at my scalp when I don’t wash it daily.  When I was a little girl my mom would sprinkle a little bit of baby powder on my scalp to get rid of that oily look when I got up late and didn’t have time to wash it.  As an adult now I’m so happy that there are companies that make dry shampoo.  You can spray it on between washes and it freshens up your hair.  I now usually wash my hair every 3 days.  If I’ve just been to the salon (since they style it so well) I can usually get 5 days out of it before I have to wash.  It’s so great to get up and fluff it up or just add a couple of curls here and there.  I love saving time.  Two of my favorite dry shampoos are 7 Seconds Dry by UNITE and Touch Up by Eufora both are only sold in salons.  You can review their websites to find a salon near you.
